OSAKA
RAINDROP is located in Naniwa-no-Miya, the ancient palace site where
emperors once resided during the Asuka period. It was the political
and ceremonial heart of Japan at the very dawn of the nation. Today,
the grounds have become one of the rare green oases in central Osaka,
cherished by locals as a place of urban escape.
At the very center of this historic park, our restaurant welcomes
guests from near and far as a park-side dining destination. We
showcase wines and ingredients sourced from producers across Japan who
share a sustainable philosophy, preparing them with techniques that
highlight their strengths to create cuisine that is simple yet bold.
Our wine list ranges from classical styles to natural ones, including
a thoughtful selection of Japanese wines, all enjoyed in a relaxed and
inviting atmosphere.
With spacious tables, terrace seating, casual high tables, and private
rooms suitable for business occasions, RAINDROP offers a variety of
settings for every occasion.

Wine Shop & Diner
Portuguese cuisine
On the first floor, you’ll find our specialty wine shop built around the concept of “walking alongside forward-thinking small producers.” We offer around 1,000 carefully selected wines primarily from Japan, France, Italy and Portugal. There’s also a kaku-uchi, a Japanese style of casual stand-up wine bar, where you can enjoy a glass right inside the shop. On the second floor is our restaurant, Casa da Andorinha, one of the very few places in Japan where you can enjoy authentic Portuguese cuisine. Guests are welcome to choose a bottle from the shop downstairs to enjoy with their meal (retail price + corkage fee). We hope to be a warm and inviting spot where both locals and travelers can discover new wines, experience the flavors of Portugal, and enjoy how easily wine can be part of everyday life.

Winery & Wine Diner
Our first urban winery, opened in 2013 to create a connection between vineyard and customer. The first floor is the winery, and above, a restaurant – a rare combination even speaking globally. At the restaurant, you can enjoy the wine from the downstairs winery and also the carefully selected wines from Japan and elsewhere in the world. “Food that calls for wine” is the concept for the Italian-based cuisine we cook, using local ingredients of the Kansai (Western Japan) area. Tours inside the winery are welcome.

TOKYO
Winery & Restaurant
Harnessing the advantages of an urban setting, Fujimaru Winery sources fresh, high-quality grapes from surrounding regions via the city’s extensive transport network. The first floor houses the winery itself, while the second floor is home to a restaurant. Just as our winemaking emphasizes the characteristics of each grape, our cuisine highlights carefully selected Japanese ingredients with an Italian-inspired approach. To connect producers and guests, our wine list features not only our own creations but also more than 200 distinctive wines from Japan and abroad. Guests dining at the restaurant are welcome to tour the winery and experience firsthand how winemaking begins with grape growing (please note that access may be limited during production). As an urban winery, we strive to bring the idea of “wine as part of everyday life” to the heart of the city.
